NCAAM: Northern Iowa defeats UIC 84-69 in MVC Title (March 8, 2026)

 Northern Iowa has advanced to their first NCAA tournament since 2016 with a win in the MVC title game over UIC 84-69. Leading the way for the panthers was Trey Campbell with 23 points, Ben Schweiger had 18 and Will Hornseth had 10. For UIC, Elijah Crawford had 28 points, Ahmad Henderson had 13 and Jayce Nathaniel had 10. UNI went 10/13 from the free throw line and outrebounded UIC 25-19.

NCAAM: Lehigh defeats Colgate 76-69 in Patriot League Title (March 8, 2026)

 #2 seed Lehigh defeated #3 seed Colgate 76-69 in the Patriot League title to advance the NCAA tournament.  Leading the scoring for Lehigh was Hank Alvey with 30 points, Nasir Whitlock had 22 and Joshua Ingram had 11. For Colgate, Jalen Cox led the way with 26 points, Sam Wright had 14 and Josh Ahayere had 8.  Lehigh went 15/23 from the free throw line and outrebounded Colgate 30-29.

NCAAM: High Point defeats Winthrop 91-76 in Big South Title (March 8, 2026)

 #1 seed High Point is heading to the NCAA tournament with their win in the Big South title game over #2 seed Winthrop 91-76. Leading the way for the panthers was Rob Martin with 24 points, Terry Anderson had 18 and Cam'ron Fletcher had 17.  For Winthrop, Logan Duncomb led the way with 23 points, Kareem Rozier had 22 points and Daylen Berry had 18. High Point went 27/32 from the free throw line and had 14 assists.

NCAAM: Ohio St upsets #24 Wisconsin 86-69

 Ohio St got an upset win over #24 Wisconsin 86-60 at home yesterday. Leading the scoring for the Buckeyes was Bruce Thornton with 27 points, Devin Royal had 25, and Amare Bynum had 13. For the Badgers, Nicholas Boyd and John Blackwell both had 14 to lead the scoring. Ohio St won the rebounding advantage 33-27, and they went 13/19 from the free throw line. They go to 17-9 with the win, while Wisconsin falls to 18-8.

NCAAM: #25 St John's over Butler 92-70 (January 28, 2025)

 #25 St John's got a win over Butler at home by the score of 92-70. Leading the way for St John's was Ian Jackson with 18 points, Zuby Ejiofor had 15 and Dillon Mitchell had 14. For Butler, Micheal Ajayi led the way with 19 points, and Drayton Jones had 4. St John's outrebounded Butler 39-27 and went 9/20 from 3.  St John's goes to 16-5 and Butler falls to 13-8.

NCAAM: #10 Houston over TCU 79-70 (January 28, 2025)

 #10 Houston got a road win over TCU 79-70 back on Wednesday. Leading the way for the cougars was Kingston Flemings with 27 points, Emanuel Sharp had 23 and Milos Uzan had 10. For TCU, Xavier Edmonds led the way with 18 points, and David Punch had 16.  Houston outrebounded TCU 28-27 and went 22/24 from the free throw line. Houston goes to 18-2 and TCY falls to 13-8.

NCAAM: #7 Nebraska over Minnesota 76-57

Nebraska improves to an impressive 20-0 record on the season with a win over Minnesota earlier today. Leading the scoring for Nebraska was Pryce Sandfort with 22 points, Sam Hoiberg and Jamarques Lawrence both had 14, and Cale Jacobsen has 7.  For Minnesota, Bobby Durkin led the way with 16 points, and both Cade Tyson and Jaylen Crocker-Johnson had 12. Nebraska outrebounded Minnesota 36-26. They also had 24 assists as well. Minnesota with the loss falls to 10-10.
