NCAAM: #1 seed North Carolina over #9 seed Michigan State 85-69 and advance to Sweet 16

 #1 seed North Carolina advanced to the Sweet 16 by defeating Michigan State 85-69 last Saturday. Leading the Tar Heels was RJ Davis with 20 points, Armondo Bacot had 18 points and 7 rebounds and Harrison Ingram had 17. For MSU Tyson Walker had 24 points, Malik Hall had 17 and Jaden Adkins had 11. UNC went 19/32 from the free throw line and went 10/26 from 3. UNC advances to the Sweet 16 where they will play #4 seed Alabama and MSU's season ends at 20-15.

NCAAM: #2 seed Arizona over #7 seed Dayton 78-68 and advance to Sweet 16

 #2 seed Arizona advanced to the Sweet 16 yesterday with a 78-68 win over #7 seed Dayton. Leading the Wildcats was Caleb Love with 19 points and both Pelle Larsson and Keshad Johnson had 13. For Dayton DaRon Holmes II led the way with 23 points, Koby Brea had 14 and Kobe Elvis had 13. Arizona outrebounded Dayton 35-31 and went 14/20 from the free throw line. Arizona advances to the Sweet 16 where they will play #6 seed Clemson and Dayton's season ends at 25-8.

 #12 seed James Madison upset #5 seed Wisconsin 72-61 in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament last night. Leading the way for the Dukes was Terrance Edwards Jr with 14 points and both TJ Bickerstaff and Julien Wooden had 12. For the Badgers Max Klesmit had 18 points and AJ Storr had 13. JMU outrebounded the Badgers 37-36 and went 21/20 from the free throw line. JMU advances to the 2nd round where they will play #4 seed Duke and the Badgers season ends at 22-14.

NCAAM: #1 seed Houston routs #16 seed Longwood 86-46 in First Round of NCAA Tournament

 The #1 seed Houston got a dominant win over #16 seed Longwood in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last night. Leading the Cougars were both LJ Cryer and Damian Dunn with 17 points, Emanuel Sharp had 13 and Jamal Shead had 11. For Longwood Johnathan Massie led the way with 10 points and Michael Christmas had 4. Houston outrebounded Longwood 29-18 and went 11/23 from 3. Houston advances to the 2nd round where they will play#9 seed Texas A&M and Longwood's season ends at 21-14.

NCAAM: Colorado over Boise State 60-53 in NCAA Tournament First Four

 Colorado got a win over Boise State in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament 60-53. Leading the Buffaloes was Tristian de Silva with 20 points, KJ Simpson had 19 and Eddie Lampkin Jr had 13. For Boise State Chibuzo Agbo had 17 points, Roddie Anderon Jr had 14 and Cam Martin had 10. Colorado went 14.15 from the free throw line and had 12 assists. They improve to 25-10 and will play #7 seed Florida and Boise State's season ends at 22-11.

NCAAM: Grambling State over Montana State 88-81 in NCAA Tournament First Four

 Grambling State got a win over Montana State in the First Four of the NCAA Tournement 88-81 back on Wednesday. Leading the Tigers was Jimel Cofer with 19 points, both Jourdan Smith and Antwan Burnett had 18 and Mikale Stevenson had 10. For the Bobcats Robert Ford III led the way with 26 points, Brian Goracke had 15 and Brandon Walker had 14. Grambling State outrebounded the Bobcats 44-29 and had 4 blocks. They improve to 21-14 and advance to the First Round where they will play #1 seed Purdue and the Bobcats season ends at 17-18.

NCAAM: Colorado State over Virginia 67-42 in NCAA Tournament First Four

 Colorado State got a win over Virginia in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament 67-42 back on Tuesday. Leading the Rams was Joe, Scott with 23 points, Nique Clifford had 17 and Patrick Cartier had 12. For Virginia Reece Beekman had 15 points, Jordan Minor had 7 and Ryan Dunn had 6. The Rams outrebounded Virginia 43-24 and had 6 assists. The Rams improve to 26-10 and advance to the First Round where they will play Texas and Virginia's season ends at 23-12.
