2022 5-Star SF Emoni Bates has committed to Michigan State. Bates is the No. 1 ranked player in the HoopsCentral50 and is a huge pickup for Tom Izzo and staff. Bates is super versatile at 6'7, and looks like a smaller version of Kevin Durant, with his ability to rise over defenders on his jumpers, drive and defend with his length. Bates held other offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Florida State and DePaul.
