NCAAM: Gonzaga defeats Santa Clara 79-68 in WCC Title (March 10, 2026)

 Gonzaga is heading to the NCAA tournament yet again with their win over Santa Clara in the WCC title game by the score of 79-68.


Leading the way for the bulldogs was Mario Saint-Supery with 21 points, Tyon Grant-Foster had 20 points and Graham Ike had 15.


For Santa Clara, Christian Hammond led the way with 24 points and Allen Graves had 11.


Gonzaga went 13/23 from the free throw line and had 24 assists.

NCAAM: Texas over NC State 68-66 in NCAA Tournament First Four (March 17, 2026)

 Texas got a close win over NC State 68-66 in the NCAA tournament First Four. Leading the longhorns was Tramon Mark with 17 points, Dailyn Swain had 13 and Jordan Pope had 5. For NC State, Darrion Williams had 21 points, Quadir Copeland had 16 and Tre Hollman had 8. Texas went 21/29 from the free throw line and outrebounded NC State 38-25.

NBA: lakers fall to Pelicans 116-108 on the road.

 The LA Lakers fell to 31-42 on the season with a 116-108 loss to the Pelicans in New Orleans. LeBron James had 39 points to lead the scoring but has an ankle injury which could sideline him. Malik Monk had 23 and Dwight Howard had 34. For New Orleans Brandon Ingram had 26, CJ McCollum had 18 and Herb Jones had 16.  The Pelicans move into the #9 spot in the west with this win.
