NBA- Clippers edge Rockets in L.A.

The Los Angeles Clippers improved to 11-5 overall with a 122-119 win over the Houston Rockets at Staples Center.

Lou Williams led the Clips with 26 points off the bench, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George had 24 and 19 points respectively.

Both teams traded buckets throughout, but it was a 42-35 fourth quarter edge that lifted L.A. to the win.

As for Houston, James Harden had 37 points and 12 rebounds playing all but six minutes. Harden was one of five players in double-figures.

The Rockets like L.A. sit at 11-5 overall, both are 2.5 games out of the top spot in the Western Conference.

NCAAW: Oregon superstar Sabrina Ionescu named Pac-12 Player of the Year

EUGENE, OR- Ducks superstar Sabrina Ionescu has been named the 2019-2020 Pac-12 Player of the Year. This is the third straight season that she has been named conference player of the year, the first Pac-12 player to ever do so. She is one of two players (Stanford's Candace Wiggins) to win the award three times. She is averaging 16.9 points, 18.5 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game this season, and a became the only player in NCAA history (men's or women's) to score 2,000 points, grab 1,000 rebounds, and dish 1,000 assists in a career.
