Freshman guard Tyrese Maxey scored a career-high 27 points to lead UK (9-3) who also got double-figure scoring from Immanuel Quickley (18 points), and Nick Richards (13 points, 10 rebounds).
The Wildcats hit 7/15 three-pointers, and 21/25 free throws. For Louisville (11-2), it was a different story. They made only 7/27 triples and 9/20 free throws.
Steven Enoch scored 18 points to lead Louisville. Dwyane Sutton, who played 43 of 45 minutes had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Both teams next play on Jan. 4th as Kentucky hosts Missouri and Louisville hosts Florida State.
