COLUMBUS, OH- The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes were upset earlier today by No. 22 West Virginia 67-59 at Quicken Loans Arena.
Miles McBride came off the bench and notched 21 points to lead West Virginia (11-1). The Mountaineers fell behind by six at the end of the first half, but were +14 in the second half.
They allowed only 15 made field goals and forced 22 turnovers. Ohio State (11-2), was led by Kaleb Wesson who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds in 36 minutes.
With the win, WV will likely move into the top fifteen of the rankings, while Ohio State will drop out of the top five but remain in the top ten of the AP Top 25.
