LAS VEGAS, NV- In a battle of top ten teams, #5 Ohio State defeated #6 Kentucky 71-65 as part of the CBS Sports Classic.
DJ Carton scored 15 pointsto lead the OSU (11-1). Kyle Young and Kaleb Wesson scored 10 points apiece.
The Buckeyes hit 22/44 from the floor, out-rebounded UK 33-25, and forced the Wildcats into 11 turnovers. Kentucky (8-3) was led by Bucknell grad transfer Nate Sestina who scored 17 points.
The Buckeyes are back in action on Dec. 29th when they host #25 West Virginia. As for UK, they face No. 3 Louisville next Saturday at Rupp Arena.
