NCAAM: UNC guard Cole Anthony to miss 4-6 weeks following knee surgery

UNC guard Cole Anthony will miss 4-6 weeks following an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee.

Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams: "Obviously not having a player of Cole's caliber will be a tremendous challenge to our young team, but we have to play." "No one player is going to replace the production Cole Anthony gives us, so it's up to everyone who puts on a North Carolina jersey to raise his game and help our team play better."

In nine games Anthony averaged 19.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He is No. 4 in the ESPN NBA draft rankings.

North Carolina is 6-4 overall following a 68-64 loss to Wofford. They play tomorrow at No. 2 Gonzaga.

NCAA Men's Basketball AP Top 25 Poll Week 7

The Associated Press updated the NCAA Men's Basketball Top 25 Poll today. The rankings have turned completely upside down this week, as Louisville fell to Texas Tech and Ohio State lost to Minnesota. Had the Buckeyes won that game, they would've been ranked No. 1. That opened the door for the 9-1 Kansas Jayhawks who are the new No. 1.
