LONG BEACH, CA- Sabrina Ionescu scored a season-high 21 points, as No. 3 Oregon took down Long Beach State 81-45 on the road yesterday.
Ionescu scored 15 of her 21 points in the first quarter, as the Ducks held a 31-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Ionescu also had 12 rebounds to notch her 42nd career double-double and moves into the UO all-time top ten in rebounds and steals.
Freshman Jaz Shelley scored 17 points and was the only other player in double-figure scoring for Oregon (8-1). The Ducks won the rebounding battle 38-17 and hit 10/27 three-point shots.
Jasmine Hardy led Long Beach State (3-7) with 11 points.
Oregon next plays on Monday at home against UC-Riverside.
