LEXINGTON, KY- At Memorial Colesium on the campus of the University of Kentucky, the No. 14 Wildcats took on No. 7 Louisville, and in a back and forth battle fell 67-66.
Dana Evans led Louisville (10-1) with 18 points and 10 assists. Kylee Shook had a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds. Jazmine Jones and Bionca Dunham had 10 points apiece.
The Cardinals have now won the last four after losing the previous five. The Wildcats still lead the all-time series 34-21.
Louisville rallied from a 55-45 third quarter deficit and held off Kentucky's Rhyne Howard who missed a three-pointer in the final seconds.
Louisville next faces UT-Martin on Thursday, as Kentucky heads west to face Cal on Saturday.
