Women's Basketball Recruiting: 2021 5-Star G Saniya Rivers cuts list

2021 5-Star G Saniya Rivers, the No. 3 overall prospect in the espnW Super 60 rankings has cut her list of finalists to six schools.

Still in contention are UConn, Notre Dame, Maryland, Florida State, NC State and North Carolina. Duke, Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, UNC-Wilmington, and NC A&T have been cut.

A standout at Ashley High School (NC), Rivers is a consistent shooter from the perimeter and is smooth getting to the rim with her length at 5'11. That length not only is a problem for opponents on the offensive end, but on defense as well.

Last season at E.A. Laney High School (NC), she averaged 24.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 4.5 steals, and 2.9 blocks per game.
