#4 seed UAB got a win over #11 seed Temple 85-69 to win the American Athletic Conference Championship yesterday. Leading the Blazers in scoring was Alejandro Vasquez with 29 points, Eric Gaines and Christian Coleman both had 15 and Efrem Johnson had 9. For Temple Hysier Miller led the way with 32 points, Shane Dezonie had 11 and Jordan Riley had 7. UAB went 15/22 from the free throw line and outrebounded Temple 41-37. UAB advances to the NCAA Tournament and improves to 24-11 and Temple's season ends at 16-21.
