NCAAM: #2 seed Michigan State over #6 seed Ole Miss 73-70 in Sweet 16

 #2 seed Michigan State got a win over #6 seed Ole Miss 73-70 in the Sweet 16. Leading the scoring was Jase Richardson with 20 points, Coen Carr had 15 and Jaden Akins had 13. For Ole Miss, Sean Pedulla had 24 points, Matthew Murell had 13 and Malik Dia had 11. Michigan State went 19.22 from the line and had 15 assists. They will play #1 seed Auburn in the Elite Eight and Ole Miss's season ends at 24-12.

WNBA: Minnesota Lynx Forward Napheesa Collier named Minnesota Professional Athlete of the Year

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN – Minnesota  Lynx Forward Napheesa Collier was named Minnesota Professional Athlete of the Year presented by Fox Sports North at last night's Minnesota Sports Awards presented by Sports Minneapolis at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. She won the award for her strong play this past WNBA season as the league’s rookie of the year and for her work in the community. Collier is the second Lynx player to win the award. (Sylvia Fowles, 2017) 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year, Collier averaged 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.91 steals and 0.94 blocks per game and led the league in minutes played at 33.3 per game. She shot 49.0% from the field, 36.1% from the three-point line and 79.2% from the free throw line.
