NCAAM: High Point defeats Winthrop 91-76 in Big South Title (March 8, 2026)

 #1 seed High Point is heading to the NCAA tournament with their win in the Big South title game over #2 seed Winthrop 91-76.


Leading the way for the panthers was Rob Martin with 24 points, Terry Anderson had 18 and Cam'ron Fletcher had 17. 


For Winthrop, Logan Duncomb led the way with 23 points, Kareem Rozier had 22 points and Daylen Berry had 18.


High Point went 27/32 from the free throw line and had 14 assists.

NCAAM: #1 seed Michigan over #9 seed St. Louis 95-72 in NCAA Tournament Second Round (March 21, 2026)

 #1 seed Michigan got a win over #9 seed St. Louis 95-72 to advance to the Sweet 16.  Leading the scoring for the wolverines was Yaxel Lendeborg with 25 points, Aday Mara had 16 and Morez Johnson Jr had 15. For St. Louis, Amari McCottry led the way with 14 points and Dion Brown had 13. Michigan went 16/31 from the free throw line and outrebounded St. Louis 40-24. Michigan will play #4 seed Alabama in the Sweet 16, while the Billikens season ends at 29-6.

NCAAM: Pitt defeats Stanford 64-63 in ACC Tournament First Round

 #15 seed Pitt got a win in the first round of the ACC tournament over #10 seed Stanford 64-63. Leading the scoring for the panthers was Barry Dunning Jr with 16 points, Roman Siulepa had 14 and Cameron Corhen had 12.  For Stanford, Ebuka Okorie led the way with 14 points, AJ Rohosy had 10 and Jaylen Thompson had 5.  Pitt outrebounded Stanford 37-27 and had 9 assists.
